Ms. Strang

Casa Montessori Directress/RECE

Ms. Strang is a 1994 graduate of Niagara College and a Registered Early Childhood Educator.  She has also held a Preschool/Kindergarten Montessori Teacher Program Diploma from NAMC since 2003.  Leanne’s interest in the Montessori Philosophy was sparked by enrolling her own children in a Montessori School.   When she experienced first-hand her own children flourishing in their knowledge, independence and self-assurance; she furthered her education in the Montessori Pedagogy in order to make a difference in other young children’s lives.  Leanne is a strong believer in Maria Montessori’s philosophies and enjoys teaching in a nurturing and creative Montessori environment.

A personal word from Ms. Strang:
My daughter Samantha is now 20 and my son Benjamin is 18 years of age and I truly feel that their Montessori schooling has set a positive foundation in their lives.   When my children were young, I opened a small Montessori school in my home.   It ran for 11 years.   As they grew and I gained more personal experience using the Montessori Pedagogy, I knew that working in a Montessori School setting was the next step for me.   Being asked to join the team at Beyond Montessori School in 2018 as the Pre-Casa Directress has truly been a blessing.   The staff and families at BMS are such a lovely community of educators and care givers.   I feel honored to be a part of the BMS Teaching Team and I am so privileged to be able to witness children reach their full potential.

“We discovered that education is not something which the teacher does, but that it is a natural process which develops spontaneously in the human being.”  Maria Montessori

“Never help a child with a task at which he feels he can succeed.”  Maria Montessori
