Beyond Montessori - Creative, Joyful Learning

“It is not enough for the teacher to love the child. She must first love and understand the universe. She must prepare herself, and truly work at it."

- Dr. Maria Montessori

Jennifer Lepp

Jennifer's passion for helping people lead her into teaching, and her love of exploration, play and discovery has brought her to Beyond Montessori School. She received her Bachelor of Science, Honors from Brock University, and completed her Bachelor of Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto.

Jennifer has had experience teaching in a Montessori and International Baccalaureate (I.B.) school, where she combined the I.B. curriculum with the Ontario curriculum for her senior Biology and Chemistry classes.

While Jennifer has spent most of her working life with children of all ages, she has balanced it with recreation time in nature. Now, as a mother and a wife she enjoys time with her husband and her wonderful children, Oliver and Willow.  Jennifer also enjoys gardening, hiking, camping and discussions of philosophy and ethics.

Jennifer is excited to be returning to Beyond Montessori School after taking maternity leave, and is looking forward to working with the new and returning students, parents and teachers.

"If you want others to be happy, practice compassion.
If you want to be happy, practice compassion."
